Q I’d really like to find out how much an appliance costs to run. Where can I go to find out?
A Try Sust-it’s calculator (). Enter the appliance’s power consumption in watts (W) or kilowatts (kW) and how long you’re going to use it. For instance, my 1400W (1.4 kW) air fryer costs around 16p to use for 20 minutes. To find the appliance’s power consumption, look in the manual or search online (some may have power consumption labels on the bottom).**
