Never tired of London

IT didn’t take long after the doors sealed shut for the first headlines to appear. ‘Is this the end of city living?’,‘Working from home leads capital flight’ or, the classic, ‘so begins the race for space’.

At the time, it made sense. After all, not much was really happening and newspaper columns don’t fill themselves. And, living in London when all the theatres, restaurants, bars and clubs are shut, you could be forgiven for thinking ‘what’s the point?’.
