SHARED NOSTALGIA

Following retirement as a nurse, I felt the need to continue helping people so volunteered my time at a nearby nursing home. I found a lot of the people liked to talk about their younger days and where they were brought up.

As a long-time reader of Country Style, I brought the magazine in one day and started reading out the various articles. I was amazed how this evoked memories of their days in the country, cooking and doing all the farm chores.

I have been told by the staff that they look forward to. Thank goodness I have kept all my back copies!
