t almost 14, and a bona fide ‘senior’, our dog Dizzy is still a people magnet. Just the other week, he was fawned over by two women who thought his now-greyteam have with their furries. Claudia told us about her neighbour’s ginger cat who fell in love with her family. ‘His name was BB, and they let us adopt him,’ she said. ‘He looked wise and serious so we renamed him Richard Parker. He seemed to like it!’ she laughed. Amber called her Jack Russell Harvey after her childhood crush from her favourite TV show, . ‘Both Harveys are lovable and sweet,’ she gushed. Beth confessed that her family put very little effort into their pets’ names. ‘There was Rocky the Rottweiler, Minnie the mini silky and a cat we called Puss,’ she said. And like most pet names, she laughed, ‘they suited them to a T!’
