After various delays, Tallink’s new €247 million flagship is finally operating the Tallinn-Helsinki route, and receiving plaudits for her innovativeTallinn on 13 December 2022 after media and VIP presentations the stormy day before. The vessel is a basic sister of Megastar, which was built by Meyer Turku in 2017, but incorporating the latest design and technological innovations.
