WOODLEIGH RISES FROM THE ASHES

Late in 2021, the Woodleigh Bullets factory (Australia) burned to the ground, and machinery and other equipment was destroyed. One report expressed doubt that it would be rebuilt and resuscitated, and the hunting world, especially shooters of classic or obsolete British cartridges, went into mourning. GAME MEATREGULATIONS

Government Gazette Vol 685 No 47024 dated 18 July 2022 contains the draft regulation for game meat in South Africa as proposed by the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment. This strategy is intended to “expand, differentiate and formalise” the game meat industry in SA.
