We live in very uncertain times, and food security in the future is going to be impacted dramatically by the changing climate and rising cost of living. As consumers reliant on buying in all of their food for the table, this leaves us open to the volatility of what is a global commodity market. A flood or drought in one part of the world, decimating harvests of certain produce, can have a dramatic ongoing impact on supply and prices elsewhere. The same goes for demand.
