Unlikely Passions

“I LIVE IN NARACOORTE in the south-east of South Australia. "I am a palaeontologist by profession and I work on fossil sites within caves at Naracoorte." Funnily enough, I haven’t ever been ‘into’ jewellery and I very rarely wear it.”

Along with a fascination for life that lived millions of years ago, Liz is also passionate about horses – so when she started beading it was only natural that the two passions came together.

“I started beading about three years ago after I bought some beads and findings for my mum to try as a new hobby. She didn’t really take to it so I started playing around and found it was a good way to relax in the evenings
