Gardens we love

Over the years we have featured some stunning gardens, so for this our special edition, we wanted to share some of the beautiful gardens we have in our country. This is by no means a complete list as that would fill a book – mmmm… maybe an idea for another time? Our thanks have to go to ALL the gardeners who have shared their visions and their great spaces with us and allowed us to photograph and publish their stories – we couldn’t have done it without your support and grace. We have featured gardens from a postage-stamp space to large farm gardens full of giant trees and fantastic plants. They all have a special place in our hearts. Enjoy!

Majestic

One of the iconic gardens we have in this country is this grand Irene garden, which is a favourite on the open gardens scene. This is gardening on a large scale with breathtaking vistas, manicured lawns and impressive woodlands in the romantic English Manor style
