Having a little project car to tinker with is an enjoyable prospect for most people. The idea of buying a fixer-upper and then transforming it with either a mild or wild freshen-up is a rewarding experience.

For many that would usually mean finding an abandoned old-school Ford, or perhaps giving a new lease of life to a broken ST or RS, but for Tom Blackwood the idea of a project car was a little different.
