WITH reference to your news feature on equine identification (15 December), I disagree with many of the findings. Since leaving the EU, the enormity of problems for horse owners, riders and breeders has been huge. As we are no longer in the EU, we are a third country and we still have to abide by EU law and regulations to trade with them. To suggest that we can lead the way is very short
