To round out our special series for archery newcomers, Starting Out, here are a cross-section of questions put to me over many years. Hopefully there will be some specific information you will find useful as you move from your initial stages to become a fully competitive shooter, with aspirations to reach county, national and maybe even international status.

Q “My fluency through the clicker is erratic. Is there any specific drill which can improve my clicker transition?”

A If your line front to back is one straight line, then that is the perfect form framework to obtain easy expansion through the clicker. A specific drill which helped me greatly way back in my early competitive recurve career, was passed on to me by the famous American champion Ed Eliason.
