SHOW REPORTS

BALLYMONEY OA the 86th annual open show was held on November 11-12 2022 in St James’ Church Hall. Although numbers were down on previous years, exhibitors came from across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The birds were judged by a panel of judges from Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Scotland and England.

This was a memorial show in memory of Paddy McClement who was a member of the association and held the post of chairman for many years. Special prizes were awarded together with rosettes. The chairman, Mr Wright, welcomed the McClement brothers, John and Dan, together with Dan’s wife to the show where they presented a cup in memory of their late brother Paddy. This cup was to be awarded for best Norwich in show and was won by Mr C. Hill, Ballymoney.
