The royal couple were in buoyant mood as they arrived in Merseyside at the Royal Liverpool University Hospital after flying from Windsor.
The Princess looked chic in her double-breasted wool coat in Black Watch tartan by Holland Cooper, worn over a navy belted dress from Cefinn, and Gianvito Rossi shoes.
