The Opposite of Negativity

My name is Klara Ward and I was born in Hungary. The family folklore goes that when some learned people from the university came to the village and saw my great-grandmother’s work, they tried to talk her parents into sending their daughter to art school … but because she was needed on the farm (and especially because she was a girl) it was out of the question. Apparently my great-great-grandfather chased them away with a pitchfork!
