Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion

Beneath this game’s rather lovely visual makeover lies an inescapable reality that’ll either disappoint or delight you depending on your persuasion: this remaster is still Crisis Core, and it still feels like a PSP game. The odd tweak has been made to the way things play, and on a purely mechanical level Reunion is easily the best way to experience this prequel, but there’s not much new here.

If anything, Reunion sometimes runs afoul of an awkward clashing of ideals in a similar way to the remake of The Last Of Us Part I. You may be losing yourself
