John Hancock is a security officer/trainer who lives in Northern Ireland. He has been trying to write a novel for a long time now and this is really the first time he has started getting into the story, having written the first three chapters (all drafts), and is now planning the rest.

Hidden1within The Port of Belfast is the Hotel Linenopolis. An exclusive hotel not open to the general public. 2It was 8am and hotel music 3played in the background 4as the working day started. Standing on the steps outsidehe used the opportunity to breathe in the fresh air of the morning. It had rained heavily during the night and the ground was trying to dry out in the morning sun.
