It’s tricky to find winter hikes suitable for children. They can’t be too long or too difficult but they should have a destination that keeps the kids eager to move forward. The Tooley Pond Road along the South Branch of the Grasse River is perfect for a winter family hike as each of the seven short trails ends with a surprise.
