Underwater camera ace Kina Scollay and his team went back in the water for a third season of the maritime nature documentary – the first since 2016, made possible by Covid recovery funding allocated in 2021 by the Film Commission. Each of its six episodes introduces a new marine “neighbourhood” in the oceans around Aotearoa and profiles its colourful characters. Facebook tidbits indicate that D’Urville Island and the treacherous strait that runs past it, French Pass, are among the locations.
