Back in the 1950s and ’60s, it wasn’t unusual for a British motoring – one of two weekly titles on sale at the time. Published on 25th October 1963, this particular issue boasted an advert for Jaguar’s innovative new SType on its cover, with the company proudly announcing: “In addition to the famous Mark 2, Mark Ten and EType range, Jaguar present the new 3.4 and 3.8 ‘S’ models”.
