Seven crab fishermen were injured when nets on their in the North Sea, 25 miles off Britain’s coast. The men—two British, five Latvian—were hauling in crab pots when they pulled up the mine or bomb. It exploded underwater, blowing the boat, the (left), out of the sea, rupturing the hull, and flooding the engine room (far left). Several of the fishermen suffered injuries that were described by authorities as “lifechanging.” The men were taken to hospitals onshore for treatment.
