Setting Sons survived

Hi Stan, I read the Gareth Brown article in August’s Scootering and saw the picture of my Rally with the Setting Sons album inner sleeve and your comment: “We believe parts of this are still out there.” ‘Parts’ is pretty accurate...

I bought the scooter in 1985 and used it for rallies for many years until it unfortunately succumbed to terminal rot and the rear shock made its way out of the frame. Which was an interesting day out!

This is what’s left of the frame and lives on the wall in my shed. Also attached are a couple of pics of when I used it in the 80s and what it became as some of the original parts are still in use on the restored version. It was finally put back on the road
