Welcome to the asylumOddballs Rally, August 4-7, 2022

This year marks the sixth Oddballs Rally. Each of its predecessors had a distinct theme and this, albeit two years late, was the most ambitious theme yet – that of Arkham Asylum, the fictional psychiatric hospital that’s home to the supervillain adversaries of Batman. Over the weekend it seemed that Gotham had opened its gates and the inmates had made their way to Abingdon Rugby Club...

Gates opened on Thursday afternoon, the glorious August weather bringing Oddballs new and old out in their droves. Evening entertainment, a silent disco in the clubhouse, with three separate choices of tunage by all accounts, was an absolute winner. On Friday, from mid-morning onwards, more and more scooterists started to arrive.
