MAIRA KOUTSOUDAKIS AND HER TEAM AT LIFE have worked in 23 countries over 23 years since 1999, and have amassed 68 awards, including several for “best in the world”. LIFE specialises in island escapes (and is currently working on two new private island projects), but has created all manner of spaces and experiences for a variety of clients, from rockstars to environmentalists. Maira served as CEO of the LIFE group of companies, is the co-founder of the LIFE Grand Cafes and international studio LIFE Interiors Architecture Strategic Design, and was recently given the green light to film a Netflix show about the group's work in wild places, life.za.com
