A lot has happened since our last update. It started with an initial set-up at the rolling road, then straight down to Blyton for our pre-season test. The test was held in the depths of storm Eugene, which did limit what we could gain from the day given the wind, rain and hail. However, it did give the car and turbo a positive shakedown, with a couple of boost control issues experienced onoff with Andrew of AP Race Engines at Mansfield, who was trusted to extract the absolute maximum out of the new setup. The car returned to the team with a new map, primarily aimed at enhancing the bottom end, getting the turbo spooled as early as possible, but it also managed to maintain peak power at the ~380hp mark, more than enough for the low-grip conditions our car regularly sees!
