We’re all different, and how loosely or tightly we crochet is unique to us – mine sometimes varies with my mood!
Your natural crocheting tension is often unimportant to the project you’re making – for example, projects where a small difference in size doesn’t really matter, such as a scarf or a blanket. In those cases you won’t need to make a tension swatch – although it’s important to bear in mind that a looser tension will consume morean item made with a loose tension will be larger than the same item made with a tight tension.
