Yet Michelle Yeoh’s name hasn’t exactly been mentioned in the same breath as the Charlize Therons, the Sandra Bullocks or the Angelina Jolies of the world despite them having played similar roles over the years. Until now.

Michelle’s fans have finally got what they’ve demanded for years: recognition for her talent and prowess on the silver screen. Time magazine named the 60-year-old film veteran its Icon of the Year and she was among Entertainment Weekly’s top entertainers of 2022.
