IT’S a day those of us based in or around London have been dreading. The proposed expansion of the capital’s Ultra-Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) has been confirmed. Implemented from the end of August 2023, this will see the zone expand to all 33 London boroughs, encompassing much of what lies within the M25 – a huge area.
Motorists driving petrol vehicles manufactured before 2006 or diesels made before 2016 within this zone will be charged £12.50 per day.
