What makes you and your firm different than all the other financial planners around town?

There’s no shortage of financial advisors around town, and I am close friends with a few really good ones I respect and share ideas with on a monthly basis. That being said, I will say that our team is VERY unique in our registered trademarked Retire While You Work® philosophy and 3 Bucket Approach to building wealth. After almost two decades utilizing this method and philosophy one-on-one with over a thousand families, and speaking to groups of thousands around the country, I can truly say people get excited when they finally gain clarity and visibility into their wealth planning using this approach. And, after 20 years I still get excited like a little kid every single time I get to walk a new potential client through our process.

I see you are a published author of a book called The Currency of Time that debuted as a best seller on Amazon a couple of years ago. What is this book about and how is it relevant to our readers?

I had the words in this book circling in my head for over 10 years, and a goal to get them published before my 40th birthday (it was released the day of my 40th birthday!). This book was a way to share my dad’s selfless story of hard work and love for his family, as well as get my unique Retire While You Work® philosophy out to the world. It centers around the core belief that Time is the only true currency, and money is simply a means to allow you to spend your time doing the things you love with people you love, creating memories and experiences- not just accumulating stuff and things.

What are you advising your clients to do with all of the market volatility, inflation, and fears of a recession?
