How much does our environment factor into our love of certain cars? Is it always pure design, or do our interaction and memories play a bigger role? For me, at least, it’s in equal measure. I’ve told the story many times about being nine years old and seeing a 1951 Jaguar XK120 from across the street. The owner saw me admiring it and called me over to come sit in it, and that kindness started a love affair that continues to this day.
