YOU CAN'T EAT THE 'HORNS' OR CAN YOU?

hile many deer hunters are happy to harvest both bucks and does, you may have met some deer hunters only interested in hunting to fill the freezer: “Well, you can’t eat the horns!” Yeah, they might be right; will probably not eat the antlers on that beautiful 10-point buck that you shot last year. And while you sure are grateful for all the meat that big buck put in your freezer last season, you begin to ponder this phrase you have heard time and time again.
