At the industry launch event for their new LS Edge pistol in late 2020, FN America’s PowerPoint presentation to the media attendees said the new longslide was the first entry in what was planned to be an entire “Edge” subdivision of the company’s lineup.
They compared it to the “M” Motorsports division at BMW or AMG over at Mercedes-Benz because marketing types are loathe to directly invoke more direct analogs like Smith & Wesson’s Performance Center or the Legion series at SIG Sauer.
