ifty-three-year-old London-born designer Shaun Leane is probably best known outside fashion circles for his long and fruitful association, will also be (possibly unknowingly) familiar with Leane’s work as he was the craftsman behind the sculptural copper necklace that she wore on the cover, alongside the McQueen kimono-style dress. While this gold and diamond Sabre cuff is not quite as statuesque as the Bjork piece it still holds plenty of drama. Made from 18-karat gold and encrusted with blackened diamonds along the knife-edge contours, it has been handcrafted by Shaun Leane’s team of artisans who are all skilled in the art of goldsmithing.
