Designer, maker and author Alexandra first learned needlecraft skills from her grandma as a child, before picking up embroidery again four years ago when her son was little. She was working as an oil painter but quickly fell in love with the textures, and how easy a project was to pick up and put down. Alex was inspired to set up Florals & Floss and now sells @floralsandflossembroidery
