Elim Chan

The first woman to win the Donatella Flick Conducting Competition, Hong Kong-born Elim Chan conducted a number of the world’s great orchestras, including the LSO and the Mariinsky, before she was 30. Chief conductor of the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra and principal guest conductor of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra, she will be making her conducting debut with several orchestras, including the San Francisco Symphony, in 2023.
