MINIATURE MAGIC

If you’ve any interest in retro gaming you’ll be well aware of Numskull Design’s miniature arcade cabinets. Released under its Quarter Arcades label and designed using authentic arcade parts, numerous cabinets have been released, including Namco’s Pac-Man, Galaga and Dig Dug, and Taito’s Bubble Bobble.

Back in issue 213 our Arcade Heaven article went behind the scenes of Quarter Arcades and mentioned incoming cabinets that included Taito’s and Konami’s . Sadly, the pandemic meant both games didn’t make their planned launch windows. “COVID threw a spanner in the works for Quarter Arcades
