2023: season underway

BENGALESE

AS I'D planned, the main part of my 2023 breeding season started in mid-November, when I set 17 new pairs. I already had 11 pairs down. The new pairings comprised seven of chocolate & whites, four of fawn & whites, one of fawn & white to chestnut & white, two of dilute fawn & whites, one of dark-eyed white to chocolate & white, and two pink-eyed whites (albinos) to extreme dilutes hens (one being crested).

In the National Bengalese Fanciers Association (NBFA) show classification, there are only two classes where I currently fail to have possible entries: self grey
