Leisure Painter

Welcome

This month, David Bellamy continues his occasional column with a look at easy-to-follow methods of finding your way out of a painting rut. Do you feel your work isn't progressing as fast as you'dgetting out and about, not only travelling to far-flung places with his sketchbook, but also visiting exhibitions and art events when he's at home. David also suggests that you make time to experiment and have fun with materials and methods that will kick start a new way of working. You'll generate new ideas if you allow art and inspiration to take over. The practical features and demonstrations in this issue are also aimed at keeping you at your easels throughout the month - and beyond. If there's a subject or technique you want to know more about, please contact me. You'll find the email address top left of this page.
