When Tim Edwards’ Massey Ferguson 135 MkIII arrived, the bonnet was covered in green lichen. A quick glance revealed that it appeared to be in good shape, and this was confirmed when I pressure washed it – as there were remnants of the original paint and decals still visible.

The main decal differed from the one found on the original, British-built 135, as it was now in the same style as the rest of the MF range of that era. The bonnet on this narrow version was the same size as on the standard-width model, but I soon found out that the grille assembly bolted to it was smaller.
