AT the risk of being vulnerable, let’s open with a quote from Casandra Brené Brown, who famously said, ‘Stories are just data with a soul.’ As someone who makes a living doggy-paddling in the deep end of the consumer research pool translating Excel spreadsheets into English, all I can say is, touché, Brené. Although I’d extend the analogy and argue that data, in turn, are just moments of truth looking for a good home. So please consider this nothing more than a knock on the door.
