ovingly designed by Mark Browning Landscape Design in support of Dementia Australia, was named after the designer’s mother, Audrey, who succumbed to Alzhemier’s four years ago. was a tribute to a woman with no design or horticultural qualifications who created her own amazing gardens. Central to was a humble pavilion with sunken seating. This represented a place where Audrey might have enjoyed a mid-morning coffee. The pavilion was set amid diverse plantings, stone mushrooms, shards of sawn bluestone and steppers that referenced the sort of paraphernalia that adorned Audrey’s gardens. Raised planting areas were surrounded with more eclectic plantings, while the natural finish of the stone walls added an earthy touch. won a Silver Gilt Show Garden Award and the Mark Bence Construction Award.
