A STEP FORWARD

FURTHER to your story about British Riding Clubs allowing dark breeches in competition (news, 1 December), I am absolutely in favour of this.

I often have to rethink my calendar so as not to enter any competitions during my period, as I often suffer embarrassing leakage despite wearing significant protection two pairs of pants and leggings underneath competition clothes, to try to stop any embarrassing moments.

This is a relief for all female riders and a step forward
