At Anderlecht, you formed a great strike partnership with the 6ft 8in Jan Koller. Why did you combine so well?

Jan’s Czech and I’m Polish-born – the two languages are quite similar. Jan only spoke a bit of English and Flemish, so I translated for him. This relationship just grew. We went to concerts together. We went go-karting together. Imagine this massive guy sitting in a go-kart! If Jan scored, I was happy for him, and if I scored, he was happy for me. You sometimes see two strikers playing for themselves because they want to be the top scorer. With us, it was the opposite. It was an amazing partnership.
