SMILING AGAIN

Waking up to the thought of checking off my Christmas list, I rubbed my eyes groggily.

Normally leaping out of bed to squeeze in a gym session, it seemed the festivities were already in full swing.

It was as if the January blues had started early, in November 2012 – I didn’t want to move.

Only, with Christmas around the corner, as well as balancing my full-on lifestyle, I assumed I just needed a long sleep.

That was until a pang of pain hit me in my left lower jaw.

It can’t be my wisdom teeth coming through could it? I thought.

Having worked as a dental nurse in the past, I knew all about how tooth pain could mean a range of different things.

Yet, with my wisdom teeth not coming through at the typical age of 24, I wondered if they had made a late arrival!
