RAMMSTEIN DROPPED THEIR PANDEMIC RECORD

After waiting 10 years for a new Rammstein album, 2019’s Untitled offering was gratefully and rapturously received. Imagine our joy, then, when in June 2020 drummer Christoph Schneider confirmed the German sextet were already working on new material. In October, they posted a photo of themselves at work at La Fabrique Studios in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, France, with the caption: ‘Sadly no tour this year – but it’s great to be back in the studio!’ Our hopes were aflame.

In March 2021, keyboardist Flake Lorenz confirmed it: we were getting a new, full-length Rammstein record. “The fact we couldn’t perform live increased our creativity,”. “We had more time to think of new things and less distraction. As a result, we recorded an album that we hadn’t planned on.”
