There is now, surely, no more debate. It is beyond arguing that the Black Ferns deserve better funding and more games on rugby’s biggest stages.

They are a champion team peppered with superstars who leave many of the men in their dust when it comes to promoting the game, playing exciting rugby and clearly enjoying what they are doing.

So the time for talking is over. New Zealand Rugby needs to act, quickly.
