CANDY CANES
The classic striped candy cane is a Christmas mainstay, and super-simple to build in Minecraft. Here we’ve knocked two together in festive green and red, but you can use whatever colours you like to match your decorations! Note the mixture of concrete for the colouring and quartz for the white areas. Using quartz rather than white concrete means you can use the quartz stairs blocks to give the cane more of a rounded shape at the top without it looking too different from the other white areas. Likewise, a layer of snow on the very top makes the cane more rounded. Dot canes like this around any build for an instant Christmas feeling!
