Before I go all synth mad – the theme of this month’s issue – let me just say some words I’ve been wanting to say for some time: issues, from this one onwards, is being stored on MusicRadar, with a quiz associated with each issue being your key to gain access. It’s more streamlined and – many a reader will be pleased to hear – much faster. Yes! We have been meaning to do this for some time, naturally, so apologies for the delay, but the new system at is the way forward – and a much faster way at that. Such is my excitement at bidding a (not so) fond farewell to FileSilo, that there’s not much room to talk synths – usually my dinner party subject of choice (just ask my fast-decreasing circle of friends). Well, whatever your level and synth ownership, you should find something over 30-odd pages of synth greatness this issue. The phrase ‘levelling up’ is one I could use, although that has been somewhat stolen by UK politicians. So let’s just say you’ll become ‘super synth users’ after reading this issue. Yes, that’ll do.
