One day, when the boys were two years old, their mother went into the fields to pick cotton. She took Bulanawan with her and placed him on a pile of soft, puffy cotton pods. While his mother was busy working, the little boy fell asleep.
But a gust of wind rolled little Bulanawan up in the cotton and carried him high into the sky!
The wind blew the boy for on the distant island of Bohol. The child was unharmed because he was protected by the soft cotton around him!
