She grew up surrounded by Hollywood royalty, alongside her mother Judy Garland and half-sister Liza Minnelli. And now legendary leading lady Lorna Luft is sprinkling her magical stardust across the UK in the tour of White Christmas The Musical.
With the festive season gathering pace, the stage and screen actress is reprising her role as the show’s larger-than-life Martha Watson – a part she has played in the Irving Berlin classic since 2006. Here, she exclusively shares with HELLO! her childhood Christmas memories and tells us why it’s such a special time of year.
Lorna was born in Santa Monica, California, to Judy and her third husband, producer Sidney Luft (they also went on to have a son – Joseph, known as director Vincente Minnelli.
